MG J2 chassis no J2013 number 13 off the production line! This must be one of the earliest if not the earliest in existence. The car has been fully restored to a good standard inside and out. The photographic record shows the body off the chassis, the mechanics all stripped and all the new parts being assembled (a fascinating set of photos). The engine has a Phoenix steel billet crank and rods, lead free head, the oil seal mods, new clutch and lots more. The car has been converted to hydraulic brakes very discreetly (old braking system is included with the car) which improve the drivability no end. The wheels have been shot blasted and powder coated for ease of cleaning. The black leather seats, body and paintwork are in excellent condition as is the chrome. This is a very well presented MG with lots of history, including early factory correspondence and records, RF60 registration book (showing early owners) and recent restoration invoices. A lively car (with brakes that actually work) and in super condition ready to enjoy this summer.
