Bristol 400. First registered 1949. Very seldom do these rare and sought-after cars come to the market. This particular example has had a competition history for a number of years including the West Anatolia Rally 2001 and 2002. It has toured Europe and South Africa. It is a car which has been used and thoroughly enjoyed, at the same time very well looked after and maintained. The bodywork, finished in burgundy, is very good and the original upholstery delightful. It is the Type 85A with triple S.U carburettors, has the boot lid-fitted spare wheel and rare, factory-option opening rear window. Mechanical modifications include overdrive, alternator, oil cooler, Alfin-type alloy front brake drums and Kenlow fan. It appears in the cover of Charles Oxley's “Bristol, The Quiet Survivor”. Ready for a new owner to drive and enjoy.
